One of the most interesting things about Mountain Goats is their relationship with their habitat… They manage to live on the steepest cliffs, perched upon the tiniest of outcroppings, in such a harsh environment. I wanted to capture this relationship by placing small models of Mountain Goats upon an enormous, perilous, rocky façade.
Building it
This sculpture took 762 hours (about 9 months) to design and construct, using 98,550 LEGO pieces.
