Merging minimalism with rainbows

Sean has always been into clean lines, midcentury modern design, and minimalism.  But LEGO bricks are such a colorful medium, and yet Sean has begun merging these two seemingly incompatible ideas.

Inspired by his two children who love girly sparkles and rainbows and unicorns, Sean was surprised to find that he was drawn to a bold spectrum of colors that he would have otherwise considered “childish”.  What began decades ago as, perhaps, just a simple burst of color behind a portrait or a monochromatic silhouette of the subject has now expanded to a bombastic rainbow of controlled explosive color.

He aims to create something simultaneously fun and yet somehow sophisticated.
